I am unable to use Word, PowerPoint, and Excel on Macbook because the applications are prompting me to activate them. I have been using my school account for my studies without any issues until now, but suddenly this problem has arisen. Here are the details of my license; is there any way to get them working normally again?Ảnh màn hình 2026-07-09 lúc 13.08.43

Good day @Đường Thị Ngọc Hà,

Thank you for reaching out. I'd be happy to help clarify this for you.

Based on the license information shown in your screenshot, your account currently has an Office 365 A1 for Students license. This license primarily provides access to the Office web applications through office.com and does not include the full desktop versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for Mac, unlike the Microsoft 365 A3 or A5 education plans, which include desktop Office applications. That is why the apps are asking for activation and showing view-only mode.

For more details about the features included in each education license, please refer to: Compare Microsoft 365 Education Plans | Microsoft Education

If these applications were working normally on your Mac in the past but have only recently started exhibiting this behavior, it is possible that your school's IT department has modified your license assignment, changed your subscription eligibility, or adjusted the services available to your account.

To confirm this, I would recommend contacting your school's IT administrator. They can verify which license is currently assigned to your account and whether there have been any recent changes that affect access to the desktop Office applications.

Please note that, as this is a user-to-user support forum, I can only share information based on official Microsoft documentation to help clarify your concern and point you toward the appropriate support place when necessary, rather than making any direct changes to your account or licensing configuration.

Thank you very much for taking the time to work through this with me. I hope the information provided helps clarify the situation and guides you toward the most appropriate next steps.
