I had to make this new account and I really wish it doesn't become my new main Microsoft account, because I really want my actual account back! The email was changed to something along the lines of th**[******@oryctertty.com] (censored for obvious reasons, although I'm sure it's some fake email) from my main gmail. I have tried using the recovery forms a bunch of times, but unfortunately they either won't give my account back or that the info I provided "was not sufficient for us to validate your account ownership." I've given all the info I can give in these forms! I don't use Outlook. I gave my gamertag, the last for digits of my card, and the ID for my PC. This is the second time this year I've gotten hacked. That time though I was able to get back in. Here, though, I am completely at a loss! If there is any more proof of the account, I have receipts from when I purchased Minecraft from last Christmas. I didn't really buy much on that account, maybe a Game Pass subscription here and there that I rarely took advantage of.

Thank you for reading, and once again I sincerely hope this account, using a burner email of mine, doesn't become my new main Microsoft account and the one I've had for years gets lost. If anyone can give me any help, I'll take it.

One more thing, I'm still logged into that account on my settings. It shows the original email and account details.

Hello, I need help recovering my Microsoft account. I’ve lost access, and I suspect someone may have accessed my account. I’ve already tried to recover it but couldn't complete the verification process.

The account belongs to me, and I can provide information to prove it—such as devices I used to sign in, associated games, purchases, approximate creation dates, and any other details required.

Is there any way to review my case or help me regain access? the gmail of the guy is this ([moderator's note: PII removed]@oryctertty.com) i see a lot of comments that finish with the same gmail as this guy i try a lot to contact with microsoft but the answer is always the same that they dsont have access to that account

I’m sorry this happened. The phone number still being listed does not necessarily allow recovery if Microsoft also requires confirmation through the changed email. The account shown in Windows Settings may also be cached information and does not confirm that the online account is still accessible.

Since the recovery form was unsuccessful, the remaining official option is to retry it with stronger historical details, preferably from a previously used device and location. Include old passwords, exact billing information, the hardware ID of a frequently used Xbox if applicable, and accurate Microsoft service history. Recovery requests may be submitted up to twice per day. See Microsoft’s recovery guidance
