Hello Marrissa Jenkins,
Sorry that did not work as expected. To point you the right way, it would help to know a bit more about your setup. Could you tell me:
- Which instructions did you follow, and what does "did not work" look like — is it still syncing, are files missing, or are you seeing an error?
- Where is FL Studio installed, and where does it keep its User Data folder (often under Documents, which OneDrive backs up)?
- A screenshot of the folder location and your OneDrive > Settings > Backup > Manage backup screen if possible.
The usual cause is that FL's User Data folder lives inside a OneDrive-backed location like Documents, so OneDrive keeps pulling it back. If that's the case, the fix is usually:
- Move the FL data folder to a local path outside OneDrive, such as
C:\FL Studio\Data.
- In FL Studio, go to Options > File settings and repoint the User Data Folder to that new local path.
- On the OneDrive side, you can also exclude that folder so it stops trying to sync.
