I locked myself out of my Tenant

I need assistance with a Microsoft 365 tenant recovery issue that has been ongoing for 3 weeks now. I set MFA rules that locked me out.

I don't understand how difficult it is to unlock the tenant. I offered the alternative of releasing a domain in the tenant, but that is also taking longer than I can possibly understand. Is there any way we, as consumers, can get more direct assistance, even if we have to pay for the service? Having Microsoft Premium is not enough, I guess, to get prompt assistance. I am lost and beyond desperate about what this is doing to my business.

My original tenant is locked due to an MFA issue, preventing administrative access. Following Microsoft's guidance, I created a new Microsoft 365 tenant, but I am still waiting for the original tenant to release my second domain. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Hello Nolvia Eldridge,

Thank you for your question. I noticed from your post that you were able to create a new Microsoft 365 tenant following Microsoft's guidance.

To help me better understand the current status of your situation, could you please let me know whether you have already opened a support ticket with Microsoft regarding the original locked tenant and the domain release request?

If a support case has already been created, I may be able to help check the status internally and better understand where the request currently stands. Since case numbers and tenant information may contain sensitive information, please do not post them publicly on the forum.

Instead, I have sent you a Private Message. Please click "View Messages" at the top of the forum page and review my message there.

Any additional information you can provide about your current support engagement will help me determine the best way to assist and guide your next steps.

Kind regards,
