This started happening after i removed one of my drives because it was failing, the drive had the epic instalation which was moved to my C: drive, however i dont think that is the issue because i have removed every epic games folder and file about ten times and i still get the same issue.

The issue happens when i try to install a game, the IS-EO-FAILED_OP_START error happens and then, about after a minute a error saying "Epic Online Services Unavalable" telling me to restart. Restarting doesnt do anything, it just repeats this loop, photos below.Screenshot 2026-06-30 211456

I have tried installing from Microsoft Store, still same issue.

This is the log i sent to Epic Support staff [Moved to Private Message]

When i check Task Viewer it shows two errors which I think are linked, when i open InstallChainer it opens but closes after a second, though it says it's the x32 version.

I have run the MSI Net Framework repair tool already.

Even Epic Support couldnt help me, they asked for the logs, said they would work on it and then ghosted me when i asked for an update a week later (:P)

If anyone can find a solution please help me, I honestly dont know what else to do except reinstalling my whole windows, which i will NOT be doing.

Hello Teo Homeghiu,

Thanks for replying.

Can you please go back to your main user profile and grant administrator privileges to the other user and see if the issue appears? If it doesn't, that mean your current profile is corrupted. You should backup the files on that user and move it to the new user. You can also switch the user profile to your current Microsoft account after that.

Thank you for your understanding.

    Hello Teo Homeghiu,

    Thanks for replying.

That we cannot be sure, corrupted profiles sometimes might just affect a single program (The config files that required for the app to run properly is corrupted or malfunction), but it can also affect other part of the profile that we might not discovered yet. So, if you haven't detected any other issues, keeping the profile is fine. But I'd suggest switching the first time you see another problem.

Before we proceed further, may I know if this issue appears on any other gaming platform like the Xbox app or Steam?

Additionally, the issue seems to relate to the .NET runtime. So can you please try to update or reinstall the .NET framework to see how it goes?

    I'm waiting for your reply.
