Azure Service Map summary says "Solution requires additional configuration" on summary

Hi All,

I have setup Azure Service Map, we have previously installed Azure Log Analytics which we use for update, and this is working fine.

I understand all I should need to do to enable the Azure Service Map solution is to connect it to a log analytics workspace, and install the dependancy agent on servers.
I have done this but when I go to the Azure Service Map solution it says:
"Solution requires additional configuration"

What additional configuration does Service Map require?

Thanks

I deleted the Service Map solution and re created it and it started working.

If the dependency agent is installed on all the servers, it sounds like it could be a network issue. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/agents/agents-overview

You may want to confirm that the machine can communicate with the OMS gateway and follow the steps here to configure health checks.

After you have installed the dependency agents, there may be a slight delay before that message goes away, but you should start receiving data shortly. If it has been a while and you are still not receiving data, you may need to reach out to the networking team for help.

Thanks but its not a network issue. Log analytics is already successfully installed and sending logs to Azure.

Glad to hear that it is working. It is often a network connectivity issue that causes that message to appear, so I'm uncertain what would have caused this in your case. Thanks for sharing your solution.
