2026-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5099539) will not install.
Have been unable to install updates for months.

I have had the same issue, having tried to install this Update.

I have the same problem. Will the next update in August fix automatcally the problem?
Please try the offline installer (.msu file)
Download and run it. If it fails, upload your CBS logs to OneDrive or GoFile.io and post the link here.
The logs are available in the following folder. Copy the following folder to the desktop.
c:\windows\logs\cbs
Zip the folder and share the file on OneDrive or GoFile.io.

I have an issue with the update as well, it gets to 20% then stops even when i use the .msu

Please uninstall Avast/AVG if installed on your system
Restart Windows and install the cumulative update again.
I uninstall'ed AVG as recommend'ed, and i just get this far with the .msu then it does'nt go any further:
