I can no longer log in to my Microsoft 365 account and i get the error code 0x0 on my MAC. I've upgraded my MAC OS to 12.7.6... Now when i run MICROSOFT Autoupdate for my MICROSOFT OFFICE programs. i get "update error" on all downloads for the 5 programs (OUTLOOK EXCEL POWERPOINT WORD ONENOTE) the error message (when i click on the "?" icon) is: "The update could not be installed at this time. Please try again later."

All the programs listed in the MICROSOFT AUTOUPDATE WINDOW above are showing "version 16.78".

while my current version for all these programs is showing: "Current Version: 16.77 Installed Sept 20 2023"

HELP!!!!!!

so it looks like i have solved the problem (with help from Ivan B.) Here is what i did. I looked up the last version of the office suite of products (OUTLOOK, EXCEL, WORD & POWERPOINT) that were compatible with MAC OS MONTEREY (OS 12.7.6) Those versions are: September 17, 2024 16.89.1 (24091630) Office suite (with Teams) Office suite (without Teams) Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote
September 17, 2024 16.89.1 (24091630) Office suite (with Teams) Office suite (without Teams) Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote

i downloaded the updates for the MICROSOFT programs (OUTLOOK, EXCEL, WORD & POWERPOINT) 16.89.1 (24091630) and then activated my MICROSOFT 365. everything is back working.

    Hi,

You can try running the installer, and it will attempt to update the version if you don't want to uninstall Office.

You won't need to uninstall Office.

    Hi,

In your case, you should uninstall Office for Mac and install version 16.89 from the history list below:
