I'm unable to log into my Microsoft account or recover password as whenever i try to log in it says that they can't find the associated email or phone number, it feels like my account just got deleted.

This is happening with the account linked to the email: (PII Removed ****@gmail.com).

    Hi Marcos Caburrasi,

I understand how worrying it can be when Microsoft suddenly stops recognizing an account you previously used. However, this message does not necessarily mean that the account has been deleted.

For your privacy and security, the email address included in your post has been removed, as this is a public community.

Could you please clarify a few details?

    • When was the last time you successfully signed in to this account?
    • What is the exact error message displayed when you enter the email address?
    • Was the Gmail address your actual Microsoft account sign-in address or was it only added as a recovery email?
    • Are you still signed in to this account anywhere, such as Windows, Microsoft Store, Xbox, Skype or another device?
    • Have you recently changed or removed any email alias, phone number or security information?

In the meantime, please try the following:

    • Carefully check the spelling of the email address and make sure there are no extra spaces.
    • Try any other email address, phone number or Skype name that may have been associated with the account.
    • Use the https://aka.ms/sign-in-helper and enter the address you previously used.
    • If you still have access to a device where the account is signed in, check Settings > Accounts > Your info or open Microsoft Store and select the profile icon to confirm the exact sign-in address.
    • Search your email inbox for previous messages from Microsoft, such as purchase confirmations or security notifications, which may show the Microsoft account or alias that was used.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. My role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas. Thank you so much for your understanding.
