    Hi luciangirl blunt

If you're trying to unblock a website in Microsoft Edge and it still won't open, the cause could be Edge settings, Microsoft Family Safety, security software, DNS filtering, a network-level block, or something else, we'll need to figure out what's blocking the website first.

    Try these steps:

    1. Open the site in an InPrivate window (Ctrl + Shift + N).
      • If it works there, an extension or cached data may be blocking it.
    2. Temporarily disable Edge extensions:
      • Edge > Extensions > Manage Extensions
      • Turn them off one by one and test.
    3. Check Edge security settings:
      • Edge > Settings > Privacy, search, and services
      • Temporarily disable Enhance your security on the web and test.
    4. Check if Microsoft Family Safety is blocking the site:
    5. Clear browsing data:
      • Edge > Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data
    6. Test in another browser or on another network.
      • If the site is blocked everywhere, the issue may be your ISP, router, antivirus, or the website itself.

To help narrow it down, could you tell me:

    • What exact message do you see when you visit the site? (for example: "This site can't be reached", "Blocked", "Access denied", etc.)
    • Is it a specific website, or are multiple sites affected?

Feel free to update here if anything comes up!

To find an answer, you have to know what is blocking the particular website in question. By itself, Microsoft Edge doesn't block websites. Here are some common things that do block websites:

    • parental control applications
    • anti-malware applications
    • browser extensions
    • third-party DNS services
    • search engine settings
