One update and now I cannot print a picture????

Window Onedrive has always been an issue. Now it is in the way of me being able to print. I do not have office of any kind and do not want it. I even tried finding it in the regedit to completely remove it. You have it hidden. If I can not simply pick a picture and ask my printer to print it like before you changed everything than we have a huge issue. instead a pop up comes up from my documents asking name and format. I just want to print my picture. Like I have before. I have no idea what to write in that pop up. I just want it gone. I will never pay to store pictures on my own pc. I will put them in a thumb drive long before you ever see a dime. Can we go back to click on my picture and it prints?

It sounds like the pictures are stored in OneDrive, but instead of letting you select a picture and print it normally as before, Windows now opens a pop-up asking for a file name and format. I can understand how frustrating this is.

One possible cause is that Windows is sending the picture to Microsoft Print to PDF or Print to file, rather than to your physical printer. Please try the options below and check whether the issue continues:

1. Open the picture, press Ctrl + P, and find the Printer or Destination box. Select the actual printer by its brand/model, not Microsoft Print to PDF, Microsoft XPS Document Writer, or Print to file. Make sure Print to file is not selected.
2. To keep Windows from choosing the wrong printer again, open Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners. Turn off Let Windows manage my default printer, select your physical printer, then choose Set as default.
3. Open the picture again, right-click it, select Print, confirm that your real printer appears at the top, and select Print.

As an additional workaround, if you’re using OneDrive for the web, try downloading the pictures to save local copies on your computer. Then open the Downloads folder, right-click the picture, and select Print.
