Hi Alvin Anderson,
Before troubleshooting Windows audio settings further, it would be helpful to confirm the exact Acer KB272 model. Some KB272 monitor variants do not include built-in speakers, in which case no sound will play directly from the monitor regardless of the Windows sound configuration.
Please check the label on the back of the monitor and share the full model number as suggested by the Independent Advisor. If the monitor does support audio, make sure:
- The monitor is connected through HDMI.
- The monitor (or HDMI audio device) is selected as the current output device in Settings > System > Sound.
- The monitor's on-screen menu shows that volume is enabled and not muted.
Once you provide the exact model number, the community can help determine whether the issue is related to the monitor's hardware capabilities or its audio configuration.
