Hi KEERTI,
If the volume controls appear unavailable or sound is not working, the issue may be related to the Windows audio service or the audio device not responding correctly.
Please try these steps:
- Press Windows + R, type
services.mscand press Enter. - Locate Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder.
- Ensure both services are Running and set to Automatic. Restart them if needed.
- Open Device Manager and expand Sound, video and game controllers.
- Right-click your audio device, choose Disable device, then Enable device.
- If the issue continues, select Uninstall device, restart the PC, and allow Windows to reinstall the driver automatically.
If the problem persists, please share your PC model and a screenshot of Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers. That will help determine whether the issue is related to the audio service, driver, or the audio device itself.
I hope this helps. Let us know the results, and the community will be happy to assist further. Feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment" or "Add Answer" if you cannot add comment so your response will be visible. Thanks for your effort.
