    Hi Todd,

Thank you for reaching out regarding the Excel issue you are experiencing.

To better understand and resolve your issue as quickly as possible, could you please provide me with the following information:

    1. What happens when you try to open Excel?
    • Does it not open at all?
    • Does it open but show a licensing/activation prompt?
    • Does it open in read-only or reduced functionality mode?
    1. When did this issue start?
    • Was Excel working before? If so, did anything change recently (e.g., Windows updates, Office updates, new device, password change, account changes)?
    1. Have you tried signing out and signing back in?
    • Please try signing out of your Microsoft account within any Office app (File > Account > Sign out), then sign back in and let me know if this resolves the issue.
    1. Are other Microsoft 365 apps working?
    • Can you access Word, Outlook, or Teams? Are they functioning normally, or are you seeing similar issues?
    1. Is this affecting one device or multiple devices?
    • Please confirm if this issue occurs on a single device or across multiple devices.
    1. Screenshots
    • Could you please provide screenshots of the error message or prompt you see when opening Excel or attempting to activate? This will help me diagnose the issue more accurately.

Once I have this information, I'll be in a better position to understand the issue and help identify the most appropriate next steps.

    Thank you for your cooperation.
