Unable to access my vault in onedrive from edge/chrome/safari.

cleared cache and still no acess. Am able to successfully access myvault from my iphone.

The “unlockRequired” message means the browser cannot complete the extra identity check used by Personal Vault. Since the Vault opens on the iPhone but fails in several desktop browsers, the files are likely still intact and the issue is limited to browser authentication or the OneDrive web service.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

Open the latest Edge or Chrome in an InPrivate/Incognito window, sign in directly at OneDrive.com, and open Personal Vault from My files. Safari is not listed as a supported browser for Personal Vault.

Temporarily disable ad blockers, privacy extensions, and strict tracking protection. These can block the separate verification window.

If prompted, choose a different verification method, such as an email or SMS code instead of an Authenticator notification.

Because cache clearing and multiple browsers did not help, contact Microsoft Support. Provide the “unlockRequired” error, Correlation ID, exact date and time, time zone, and the affected account. Ask for the issue to be escalated for account-side Personal Vault authentication review.

Avoid disabling or resetting Personal Vault while the files remain accessible only from the iPhone.
