A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
Hi, Trudye
OneDrive does not create versions on a fixed schedule. A new version is recorded only when the changed file is successfully saved and synced, so the July 5 entry likely means later changes were not fully uploaded as separate versions.
Here are some suggestions you can try:
First, make a copy of the corrupted .aup3 file and work only with the copy. On https://onedrive.com, select the file, choose Version history, and check whether a July 20 version is available to download or restore. Also verify that you are viewing the correct OneDrive account and folder. Version history supports all file types, including Audacity projects. Restore an earlier OneDrive file version
If July 20 is not listed, OneDrive cannot normally create or retrieve that missing version afterward. Check the OneDrive Recycle Bin and the computer’s Recycle Bin for another copy.
It is also recommended that you update Audacity and try opening the copied project. If it remains corrupted, use the official Audacity project recovery instructions. For future projects, edit locally, close Audacity to complete the save, then allow OneDrive to sync.
