Hi,

I do not have any children.  I am unable to login to my account as it thinks that I am a child.  Please turn off child saftey protocols to both [PII removed]@yahoo.com and [PII removed]@gmail.com

    Hi, Niko Belsito

This usually happens because the birth date saved on each Microsoft account makes it appear underage. Family Safety cannot simply be turned off by a forum moderator, and each account must be corrected separately.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

Open the Microsoft account profile page and sign in to the first account. If possible, correct the birth date and select Save. Repeat this for the second account.

If you see “Parent or guardian consent is required,” select I’m a parent or guardian, then sign in with a different adult personal Microsoft account. You can create a temporary adult account if necessary.

After granting consent, open Manage child accounts, select your name, and choose Edit this child’s personal info. Enter the correct birth date.

Check Microsoft Family. If either address appears in a family group, remove consent first, then remove the account from the family group.

If sign-in remains blocked, use the Microsoft sign-in helper.

Thank you for your patience in reading, I hope this information has been helpful to you.
