my screen is glitching when i use my microphone

when i turn on my microphone my screen starts to glitch.

Option 1: Test a different microphone  

• If available, connect a different microphone and check whether the issue persists 
• If using a USB microphone, try a different USB port 

Option 2: Check Display and Audio drivers  

• Open Device Manager 
• Expand Display adapters and Audio inputs and outputs 
• Right-click each device and select Update driver 

Option 3: Run the Hardware Troubleshooter  

• Press Windows + R 
• Type msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic and press Enter 
• Follow the on-screen instructions 

Option 4: Check for driver conflicts  

• Open Device Manager from the Start menu 
• Look for any devices showing a warning symbol 
• Update or reinstall the affected drivers 

Option 5: Perform a Clean Boot test  

• Press Windows + R and type msconfig 
• On the Services tab, select Hide all Microsoft services 
• Click Disable all 
• Restart the PC and test the microphone

Has this happened only recently?
Does this only happen on a specific app, game, or software connected to your Microphone?
Try using a recording app and see if the screen is glitching.

In the meantime, try restarting your device. Restarting your device might help resolve a temporary issue that may cause your screen to glitch.
