I am not sure why I got an email from Microsoft concerning moving SMS and voice for Entra users

Today I got an email from Microsoft, informing me of the following (this is the first paragraph in the email):

We are notifying all Microsoft Entra ID tenants of an important change to authentication security: The AI era demands stronger, phishing-resistant authentication. Passkeys are becoming the default authentication experience in Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft-provided SMS and voice authentication will retire on February 1, 2027.

I appreciate Microsoft doing this for commercial customers. This will certainly affect where I work and myself, in the work environment.

But in this case, I am an individual. We have Windows machines, but they're mostly Windows Home and a few Windows Professional machines. I don't know if any of us are using SMS in order to access anything like our banking accounts, Facebook, Twitter/X, etc. Maybe, but I am certain there are no Microsoft Entra ID. At least nothing like I have at work, where I'm a part of an Active Directory domain. We don't have that here at home. Unless having a Microsoft account, like something which ends in outlook.com, live.com, hotmail.com, etc. means that is an Entra ID. Is it? If so, please enlighten me.

Do you have Microsoft 365 business licenses? Or Teams Essential license? If so, you have a business tenant.

Or, you might have signed upfor free Azure (now called Entra ID) back then and have moved on and forgot about it?

Regardless, if you don't have Entra ID or any commercial/business licenses, you can ignore this email.
