The message you're seeing is often associated with browser notification spam rather than a confirmed malware infection. These notifications can mimic Microsoft Defender alerts and display alarming messages such as "Trojan found in Win32" to encourage users to click links or download unwanted software.

I recommend reviewing the notification permissions in Edge and removing or blocking any unfamiliar websites that are allowed to send notifications. After that, close and reopen the browser to see if the pop-ups stop.

You can also clear your Edge browsing data:

1. Open Edge and press Ctrl + Shift + Delete.
2. Set the Time range to All time.
3. Select Browsing history, Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files.
4. Click Clear now.
5. Restart Edge and check whether the notifications return.

As a precaution, please run both a Full scan and a Microsoft Defender Offline scan:

1. Open Windows Security.
2. Select Virus & threat protection.
3. Choose Scan options.
4. Select Microsoft Defender Offline scan.
5. Click Scan now and allow the PC to restart. The offline scan will run before Windows loads and then automatically restart the computer when finished.

Since your device is running Windows 10, it's also worth keeping in mind that Windows 10 reached end of support on October 14, 2025. While this is unlikely to be the direct cause of the pop-ups, ensuring the device is running a supported version of Windows helps maintain protection against newly discovered security threats

It would also be worth checking for recently installed or unfamiliar programs. Press Windows + R, type appwiz.cpl and review the installed applications list. If you find anything suspicious that was installed around the time the issue began, consider uninstalling it.

If the notifications continue after clearing browser data and removing notification permissions, try resetting Edge by going to Settings > Reset settings > Restore settings to their default values.

If possible, please share a screenshot of the notification and let me know whether it appears only while Edge is open or continues even after Edge has been closed. That will help determine whether the alert is coming from Edge notifications, Windows notifications or another application.
