Unable to perform bitlocker recovery

My laptop is locked for 2 days. When I turn on the PC, a blue screen "BitLocker recovery" apprears. I followed the on screen instructions to sign in my MS account to get the bitLocker recovery key. The "BitLocker receovery key" page screen just kept loading and did not show anything. I tried a few times but still in vain. Please advise what the problem is and how to fix it.`

If you're unable to complete BitLocker recovery, the most important step is to locate the recovery key that was saved when BitLocker was enabled. BitLocker recovery requires the original 48-digit recovery key, and it cannot be regenerated if it was never backed up.

Please try the following:

Sign in to the Microsoft account that was used on the device and check the recovery keys page.
If you have multiple Microsoft accounts, check each account for a saved recovery key.

You can also look for any previously saved copies of the key, such as a printed document, USB drive, or text file stored on another device.

If the recovery key webpage is not loading correctly, try accessing it from a different browser or device and ensure you are signed in with the correct account.

If the recovery key cannot be found in any of the locations where it was previously saved, there is no supported method to generate a new recovery key for a locked drive or bypass BitLocker protection. BitLocker recovery requires the original 48-digit recovery key.

I think I enabled the BitLocker unknowingly and did not save the recovery key. I tried to log in the BitLocker Recovery webpage to locate the key using different deviced for several times but the webpage has problem in loading the contents. So my problem is still unsolved. Please advise any other solution. Thanks.

If the recovery key was never backed up to any location and cannot be found, BitLocker's encryption is designed to prevent access without the original recovery key. In that situation, the remaining option is typically to reset or reinstall Windows, which would remove the encrypted data on the drive.

I understand this is not the outcome you were hoping for. Before considering a reset, I would recommend performing one final review of all Microsoft, work, or school accounts that may have been used on the device. Hopefully the recovery key can still be located and access restored.

Finally, I successfully located the recovery key by logging to my MS account via Safari. I tried Google Crome and MS Edge, which did not work. I don't know why. Then, I asked my daughter to try Safari on her iphone and get the key smoothly. The problem is now solved. Thanks!
