How do I restore deleted one drive files when recycle folder is empty?

This option did not work because there are no prior versions available. There is NOTHING to restore.

Please open the OneDrive icon in the taskbar notification area, and it will show you the current status of your files. If the Icon is green with a check beside your files or folder, it means it is fully synced on your OneDrive. If you see it, try checking your recycle bin; it might be that it was deleted from your device.

I looked at the sync and was not able to see the 'lost' folder and files.

Do you have someone shared these files, especially with full authorization for the files and folders?

Once files are gone from both the Recycle Bin and version history, they are considered permanently deleted. At that point, recovery is only possible if you had a backup elsewhere.

I understand how frustrating it is, but once the file is permanently deleted, it would be impossible to recover, as it is also deleted on the cloud system unless it has a backup elsewhere.
