Other features or issues related to Microsoft Partner Center
The most likely cause is missing Partner Center access assignment, not verification status.
Authorized verification only means the account information was verified. It does not guarantee that Hardware developer program pages and features will appear for the signed-in user. Partner Center states that many pages are only visible to users with assigned access, and for Hardware developer programs access must be granted by a person in the Owner or Manager role in the organization.
Recommended checks:
- In Partner Center, go to Settings → Account settings → My access.
- Confirm whether the signed-in account has access to the Hardware developer programs workspace.
- In the same My access page, expand Request access and help to see who in the organization can grant access.
- Have the organization’s Owner or Manager assign the required Hardware developer program access.
- Also confirm the correct account is being used. Partner Center notes that work and personal accounts can look similar, and signing in with the wrong one can hide expected capabilities.
About the empty Workspace list in Support:
- If the account cannot sign in with an account that is enrolled in the Hardware Program, or access to the enrolled tenant is blocked, the documented path is to open a case through Partner Center support instead of Engage Center.
- If an enrolled Hardware Program account can sign in, the recommended support path is Microsoft Engage Center using the enrolled Partner Center account.
- When creating the Engage Center case, use:
- Product:
Windows Developer Center - Problem Type:
Hardware Device Drivers
- Product:
Important distinction:
- Verification status can be monitored under Legal info.
- Feature visibility and workspace access depend on Partner Center role assignment.
If verification is already Authorized but Hardware is still missing and even the Global Admin account shows Access Restricted, the next supported action is:
- verify My access for the exact signed-in account,
- confirm the correct work account is being used,
- then have the organization’s Owner/Manager grant Hardware developer programs access,
- or, if the enrolled account/tenant cannot be used, open a Partner Center enrollment case through Partner Center support.
