How do I remove an organization that I did not add?

Hi Debbie,

If an organization has been added to your Microsoft profile unexpectedly, first verify whether it's a legitimate work, school, or Microsoft Entra ID tenant that you may have previously joined or been invited to.

You can review and manage organizations associated with your account by signing in to:

My Account: https://myaccount.microsoft.com/organizations

If the organization is one you no longer need and you are a guest, you can usually select the organization and choose Leave organization.

If you can't remove it yourself, or you don't recognize the organization at all, I recommend:

• Changing your Microsoft account password immediately.
• Reviewing your recent sign-in activity for any unexpected access: https://account.microsoft.com/security
• Contacting the administrator of that organization (if known) or Microsoft Support if you believe your account has been compromised or the organization was added in error.
