Help please! X570 Aorus Master - TPM 2.0 disappeared, totally gone. I think it's an Windows OS issue.

Alright, I'm going insane and I can't seem to solve this problem. Any help is much appreciated, because nothing I do works. I found another User with the same problem, couldn't find a solution either so I'm trying here.

So I have a X570 Aorus Master, AMD Ryzen 9 5950X on Windows 11. So I occasionally play League and in order to play this game you need UEFI Secure Boot + TPM 2.0 enabled for Vanguard.

I took a break for like 2/3 months and my whole TPM is just gone. My BIOS is on the latest firmware, it even has a whole TPM 2.0 Devive found section and is fully enabled. Secure boot and anything else is fine, expect Windows 11 just gives me "Compatible TPM cannot be found.". Everything is fully up2date, changed the BIOS settings numerous of times on/off nothing works. No changes in hardware or software either, everything was fine with the same exact PC only 2ish months ago. TPM 2.0 just poofed.

Tpm.msc just shows - "Compatible TPM cannot be found.". Driver also gives Error.

In BIOS Trusted computing 2.0 = Tpm 2.0 Device found. Version 3.94 AMD and everything enabled.

Since your BIOS is still detecting the AMD fTPM device and Secure Boot appears to be enabled, the issue may be related to how Windows is recognizing the TPM rather than the TPM feature being disabled in firmware.

As a next step, you could try:

1. Open Device Manager and check Security devices. If a TPM-related device appears with a warning symbol, uninstall it and restart the PC.
2. Install the latest AMD X570 chipset drivers directly from AMD's support site, then restart Windows.
3. Open PowerShell (Admin) and run: Get-Tpm
   • Check whether TpmPresent and TpmReady return True.
4. Review Event Viewer under: Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > TPM
   • Any TPM-related errors there can help identify whether Windows is failing to initialize or communicate with the firmware TPM.

If Windows still cannot detect the TPM while the BIOS continues to show"TPM 2.0 Device Found", it may also be worth checking with Gigabyte support for any motherboard-specific firmware considerations on the X570 Aorus Master platform. Did this problem occur after a firmware or BIOS update?

In the BIOS, do you have any TPM modes other than AMD fTPM?
