What benefits do family members get? I thought each user would get the premium version of Copilot on the desktop and in word, excel, outlook, etc. That's what I was told.

    Family members on a Microsoft 365 Family or Microsoft 365 Premium plan can use the Microsoft 365 apps and shared subscription benefits, but they do not get the premium Copilot/AI features in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or Designer.

    The AI benefits are available only to the subscription owner and cannot be shared with other members on the family plan. That includes Copilot features in the desktop apps. With Microsoft 365 Premium, the subscription owner also gets additional advanced Copilot features such as Copilot Actions.
