I can open documents in Microsoft office (word documents) but it will not allow me to edit them. There is a banner stating I need to active office. However, when I go through the prompts it gives me an error code and logs me out and around and around we go. I need to be able to edit a document. I am not sure why it is so hard to get a human on the phone for technical support. Apple provides excellent customer support and microsoft is falling very far behind on customer assistance.

    Hi,

What version of macOS are you using (for example, Ventura 13, Monterey 12, Sonoma 14, or Sequoia 15)?

Also, which version of Microsoft Office are you using? For example, Microsoft 365 Personal or Family, or a one-time purchase such as Office Home 2019, Office Home & Business 2021, or Office Professional Plus 2021.
