Hi,

I along with some other colleagues are experiencing an issues when trying to open MS Teams Meeting options from Outlook. I know that this was working fine. When organising a meeting, it opened the settings, where we could change the options. What is happening now is, that it opens a new browser window saying Meeting options and it then loads indefinetly (screenshot attached)

Any help would be appriciated,

Could you share the repro steps with us?

I scheduled a Teams meeting with Microsoft Teams Version 1.4.00.28462 (64-bit). It can open the meeting options website well. If your client version is not the latest one, please update it and try again.

Thank you for replying and sorry for posting it twice. So, here are the steps:

Open Outlook

Open Calendar

Click on Teams meeting

click on settings and then meeting options

After this step, the browser windows with the tab meeting options opens and does not load

I am using version 1.4.00.26376. It was installed yesterday directly from MS Site. I also found a newer version which is 1.4.0.29254 and tried with this one. The result is the same.

Quick update,

I can open meeting options trough Teams client.

What is your Outlook version?

I do the same steps in my Outlook client(), and find two difference places.

One is the position of Meeting Options. The following image shows that.

Another is that the content of Meeting Options are not opened in a website. It shows as below:

Do you check your Outlook version and how is going now?

Sorry for the late reply.

We are using version 2016 of the Outlook

I also updated the MS Teams, so i am seeing the same Meeting options as you are

But the problem still persists

I have also updated my Office to 2019. The issue still persist...

I tested it with the same Outlook version as yours. The browser is Edge. It works well.

So, I want to confirm some more questions with you:

How many users are affected in your tenant?

Does this problem happen for all Teams meetings?

Can you please confirm me if when the user is clicking on the Teams Meetings > Settings and opening a new browser window, is that an Edge window? Firefox? Or Internet Explorer?

The exact number i do not know, but it happened gradually. I would say, that it is all of as having the same issue.

And yes, it happens with all Teams meetings.

When opening the settings it really depends on what the default browser is set to. For instance, mine opens in Chrome, my colleagues opens in Edge

Hi, i have an update on this. I can open Meeting options if i click on link in the invitation. In that case it opens in a new browser window without any issuess.

I also found out that there is a difference in the link if i click the plugin or the link in the mail:

From plugin:

From link in the invite:

As you can see, there is additional text in the link generated by the plugin (&correlationId=63bc8f14-d6a2-49b7-bf64-8a61738863d0&config.host.headless=true&config.meetingOptions.isClientSideInviteeListSupported=true&agent=embed&config.host.skin=olk-win)

Hello,

we have the same problem in our tenant.

After we click on the "Meeting Option" button, MS Edge opens and then nothing more happens.

BUT

Our accounts are not added as profile in MS Edge. Can it be the reason for it?
