So have recently gotten a new laptop and wanted to install the minecraft launcher so i could play on the go. Firstly, i tried doing it via the microsoft store, which caused the first image. (Apologies that its not in english.) Next tried the xbox, which didnt work either and got me the second image. Then, i tried doing it from minecrafts offical website, which also didn't work and showed an error. I have tried so many things to get it to work and watched a lot old youtube videos, but to no avail, so asking here is really my last hope. I'd also like to add that it is not only the minecraft launcher, but all games and apps from the store that doesnt work. What does work though, is if i download a game from Steam, so the issue has to be with microsoft services and not my laptop. Thanks.

    Hello Alfred Lohse Dantoft,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Before we proceed further, may I know if you have any other drive in this computer? If you do, can you please try to switch the install location to it and see if it works first?

In the meantime, please help check if Gaming Service is still working.

    • Type "PowerShell" in the search bar and select "Run as administrator".
    • Type get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices and press Enter.
    • Please let me know if anything come up.

    I'm waiting for your reply.
