My account shows Office 2019 for Mac, but the download link is for a newer “Microsoft 365 and Office” installer that requires macOS 14, and I need the correct Office 2019 Mac installer that works on macOS 12. I run Mac Monterey and need to reinstall

There are a couple of widely reported problems with the Office apps on an Apple Mac at the moment due to the July 13 update.

If you are unable to upgrade your MacOS version, the last version of Office that will work on MacOS Monterey is 16.88, that is available on the long table on this link to all the downloadable versions from the Microsoft servers.

    I unfortunately only have a license for office 2019 so this doesn't work. Anyway, the installer worked :)
