Hello Microsoft Learn Support Team,
I am creating this new question because the issue is still unresolved after performing every troubleshooting step that was previously recommended.
First of all, thank you to @Yehor Diriavka and @Chirag Kolte for taking the time to review my previous question and suggesting troubleshooting steps. I carefully followed all of the recommendations, but unfortunately the problem still persists exactly the same.
Problem Description
Whenever I launch any Microsoft Learn lab, the lab never starts successfully.
Instead, it remains on the "Loading lab..." screen indefinitely.
The virtual machine is never provisioned, and the lab environment never becomes available.
This is happening with every Microsoft Learn lab, not just a specific module.
Because of this issue, I am unable to complete the hands-on exercises for my Microsoft Learn training.
Browser Console Errors
While the lab is stuck loading, I opened the browser Developer Tools (F12) and consistently observed errors similar to:
- API consumer not enabled
- ArkoseLabs postMessage target origin mismatch
The "API consumer not enabled" message appears repeatedly while the lab is attempting to load.
Since this occurs every time, I suspect the lab provisioning request is failing before the virtual machine is created.
To make sure the problem was not caused by my own computer or browser, I tested extensively.
Browsers Tested
- Google Chrome (Latest Version)
- Microsoft Edge
- Incognito Mode
- InPrivate Mode
The issue occurs in every browser.
Browser Cache
I completely cleared:
No improvement.
Networks Tested
I tested using multiple internet connections.
- Home Internet
- Mobile Hotspot
The exact same issue occurs on both.
Microsoft Accounts Tested
To rule out an account-specific problem, I also tested with multiple Microsoft accounts.
- My original Microsoft account
- A completely different Microsoft account
Both accounts experience exactly the same issue.
Different Learn Labs
I also tried launching multiple Microsoft Learn labs.
Every lab remains stuck on:
Loading lab...
Therefore, the issue is not limited to one particular course or lab.
Operating System:
Windows 10
Browsers:
Google Chrome (Latest)
Microsoft Edge (Latest)
Country:
Pakistan
Microsoft Learn Profile:

My Analysis
Since the issue occurs:
- across multiple browsers,
- across multiple Microsoft accounts,
- across multiple internet connections,
- across different Microsoft Learn labs,
I no longer believe this is caused by:
- browser cache,
- cookies,
- extensions,
- local network,
- my computer,
- or my Microsoft account.
The repeated "API consumer not enabled" error makes me suspect there may be a backend provisioning issue, an API configuration issue, or a Microsoft Learn Lab service issue preventing the lab environment from being created successfully.
The ArkoseLabs message may simply be a secondary warning, but the API-related error appears much more significant.
Request
Could someone from the Microsoft Learn engineering team please investigate whether:
- there is a provisioning issue affecting my Learn profile,
- there is an issue with the Learn Lab backend service,
- there is an API configuration problem,
- or whether there is a known service outage affecting lab provisioning?
If additional information is required, I will gladly provide:
- HAR file
- Browser console logs
- Correlation ID (if available)
- Screenshots
- Any additional diagnostic information
Because I am currently preparing for the Microsoft PL-300 certification, I have continued practicing using the official GitHub lab files in Power BI Desktop.
However, I am still unable to access the Microsoft Learn hosted lab environment, so I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue.
Thank you very much for your time and support. I look forward to your guidance.
