I need to turn on update to make my pc work

Before enabling the update, my laptop was running normally. Suddenly, the screen went black and then back on, a continuous beeping sound indicating a driver error rang out, and the screen zoomed to 100% with max brightness.

I was playing a videogame at that time, and immediately after the driver malfunctioned, all the programs I had open crashed. I tried restarting, but it didn't help.

I want to completely disable updates because they consume a lot of RAM and CPU on my computer.

How can I prevent this from happening again? What if something important crashes while I'm working on it? How can you help me or compensate me in any way? Some of files and folder in my laptop are even greater than entire your company

Please adjust the Windows 11 ISO so that you can adjust the screen size, brightness and resolution without needing drivers.

Your description of the problem indicated the graphics drivers crashed on your system, do you regularly go to the Dell website to ensure all your drivers are fully up to date, what would stop Windows updates installing drivers.

In general Windows updates only install on the second Tuesday of each month, and when an update is ready to install, you should see a notification at the bottom right of your screen indicating your PC will restart, on that notification, you can choose not to install the update now if you are performing any important tasks on your PC.

Also, if you go into the advanced options of Windows updates, you can set active hours for when you do not want Windows updates to install on your PC.

Currently there is no working method to stop the updates installing on your PC, but there is an update being released soon that will allow you to pause updates indefinitely on your PC.
