unable to sign in to onedrive

I can't sign in to onedrive on my laptop.

Error message is 0x8004de80

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Unlink your old account from the OneDrive app if it is linked.

• Right-click the OneDrive icon on the taskbar, then select Settings.
• In the Accounts tab, select 'Unlink this PC'.

Then, delete the sign-in credentials -

Click Windows + R key, type

%localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\settings 

and click Ok.

• Delete the PreSignInSettingsConfig.json file.
• Launch OneDrive and sign in to your account again.

If you are still experiencing issues, uninstall and reinstall OneDrive.

You can uninstall OneDrive from the Installed apps section.

Once uninstalled, download and install the latest version of the OneDrive dekstop app from the official Microsoft website here -

Fix it by resetting one drive, clearing cached sign-files or reinstalling the app

Procedure

-Press the window key+R on your keyboard to open the run box

-Type or paste the following command and press enter

localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe

-Wait aminute then restart one drive manually by opening your start menu typing one -drive
