Using the New Outlook for Mac features in business environments
Hi Dan,
Thank you for reaching out.
Since the print preview shows correctly and the right printer is selected, but nothing comes out for emails while calendar events print fine, this looks like it is coming from how the email is being rendered for printing rather than from the printer itself. A few things are worth trying in this order:
- Try Outlook on the web in Safari
- Open Safari.
- Sign in to outlook.office.com and open one of the emails that would not print.
- Select the three dots (…) at the top right of the message, then choose Print.
- In the print preview that opens, confirm your printer is selected and select Print.
- Test in legacy Outlook for Mac
- Open the Outlook for Mac app.
- At the top right, click on the Help menu and select Revert to Legacy Outlook.
- Open an email and select File, then Print (or press Command + P).
- Confirm the printer and select Print.
- Clear stuck print jobs and cache
- In Print Center on your Mac, select the print job, then click x to delete.
- Once finish, restart Outlook and try printing a fresh email.
- Update Outlook to the latest version
- In Microsoft AutoUpdate, select Update.
- Once the update finishes, reopen Outlook and try printing again.
