    Hello @DURAN MURO, AGUSTIN

From what you described, you are trying to sign in to your company websites, but the sign in process is asking for a verification code or security key, and you are not receiving any notification in the Microsoft Authenticator app. Because of that, you are getting stuck in a loop where every sign in attempt keeps requesting authentication that you cannot complete.

To confirm the situation and suggest the troubleshooting steps in the right direction, may I confirm a few points:

    • Is this a Microsoft 365 work account provided by your employer? (@companyname)
    • Are you using a new phone or did you recently change phones?
    • When the sign in screen appears, does it specifically indicate that the code should come from Microsoft Authenticator, or could the code be coming from another authentication method?
    • Can you open the Microsoft Authenticator app and see your work account listed there?
    • Do you have any alternate sign in methods available, such as a phone number, email address, or security key?

Since this issue involves your company's website and account security settings, I would also recommend reaching out to your company's IT administrator for more specific guidance. These authentication methods are typically configured and managed by the organization, so the IT team can check your account settings and provide instructions tailored to your company's environment.

Wish you a great week ahead!

    1. Open Microsoft Authenticator and confirm the work account is still listed and active. If it is listed, swipe down to refresh.
    2. Make sure the app is unlocked. If the app is locked, the sign-in entry box might not appear.
    3. Check that notifications are enabled for Microsoft Authenticator and not set to silent.
    4. Update Microsoft Authenticator to the latest version.
    5. Check network connectivity on the phone. If needed, switch between Wi‑Fi and mobile data.
    6. Verify the phone’s date and time are correct.
    7. During sign-in, select I can’t use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now or I don’t have a code if that option appears, then use another verification method.
    8. If the account is missing from the app, or notifications and codes still do not appear, contact the organization’s Help desk or IT admin and ask them to clear or reset the MFA/authentication methods so registration can be set up again.
    9. If the phone was lost or replaced and no other sign-in method works, sign in with a different method if available; otherwise the organization’s Help desk needs to clear the settings.

Support agents cannot send verification codes or change account details for account recovery.
