This is an old account and I can login to my computer using my PIN but I need to recover my password. I did try it already several times and this time I have submitted the security questions with new outbound email I send in my emails to ensure that it is latest. I did not input any password as I can't remember it. Also .......89 phone number is no longer available and I also want to update it. This machine that I am using has an issue where the screen goes black and it is sometimes permanent. I was hoping it is just related to some login related and not a machine specific as for now I can use it without getting that black screen.

    Hi,

When was the last time you signed in to this Microsoft account? Microsoft permanently closes accounts that have been inactive for more than two years.

Otherwise, since you no longer have access to your recovery methods, your only remaining option to recover the account is to submit the account recovery form: https://account.live.com/acsr

Microsoft takes account security seriously, so the recovery process is fully automated to prevent unauthorized access. Complete the form using a device and location you've used before, and make sure to provide an accessible email address.

Microsoft typically reviews recovery requests within 24 hours. If your request is successful, they’ll send instructions to help you recover your account.

Help with the Microsoft account recovery form: https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/help-with-the-microsoft-account-recovery-form-b19c02d1-a782-dee6-93c3-dc8113b20c42

You can submit the form up to twice within a 24-hour period, so feel free to include any new details you remember each time until you recover your account.
