I have tried to remove the "Upgrade Your Plan" banner at the top of my Word documents, but it keeps coming back. Does anyone know how to get it to stay away WITHOUT HAVING TO ACTUALLY UPGRADE?

    Hi,

Which version of Microsoft Office or subscription are you using? For example, Microsoft 365 Personal, Microsoft 365 Family, or a one-time purchase such as Office Home 2024.

In the meantime, please try the following:

    Open Word.

    Go to File > Account.

Under User Information, select Sign out.

    Close Word completely.

    1. Reopen Word and sign in using the Microsoft account associated with your active subscription.
