Hello Microsoft 365 Developer Program Team,

I accidentally clicked Delete Profile on my Microsoft 365 Developer Program dashboard. I did not intend to leave the program.

My developer tenant is:

[Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]

Immediately afterward I received an email confirming that my Developer Program profile and membership had been deleted.

My dashboard now shows:

  • Subscription expired on July 25, 2026
  • Subscription inactive
  • Non-admin users lose access on August 24, 2026
  • Tenant scheduled for deletion on September 12, 2026

I use this tenant for Power Platform, Dataverse, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 development and training. I have invested significant time building applications and learning in this environment.

Since this deletion was accidental, could you please restore my Microsoft 365 Developer Program membership and reactivate my developer subscription before the tenant is permanently deleted?

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Hi @Bisrat Hailu Lemma

Thank you for reaching out.

To clarify, this is a user-to-user community forum. Moderators and contributors do not have access to Developer Program subscriptions, tenant data, or account recovery systems.

Based on the Microsoft 365 Developer Program FAQ, after deleting a Developer Program profile erases the profile information and any data stored in the developer subscription that is not backed up elsewhere. And if a Developer Program account is deleted, a new subscription can only be obtained after the existing subscription has been held for more than 60 days. This behavior is by design. Because of this, neither forum moderators nor community contributors can restore a deleted Developer Program profile, reactivate the associated subscription, or bypass the 60-day waiting period.

If you would like the Microsoft 365 Developer Program team to review your situation, you could consider to contact Developer Program support through Contact Us - Developer Support. They can review your circumstances and advise whether any options are available. However, restoration of a deleted Developer Program membership or subscription is not guaranteed.

Please note that this is a paid support ticket, which means it requires an active support plan or a one-time support purchase. However, the benefit of using this channel is that your inquiry will be routed directly to the Microsoft Product Group responsible for the specific service or feature in question. This team includes engineers and developers who work on the product itself, so they are best positioned to provide accurate, in-depth, and authoritative answers especially for complex or edge-case scenarios that go beyond publicly available documentation or community knowledge.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. I hope this information helps clarify the situation.
