Since you're using Office 2019, unfortunately even uninstalling and reinstalling won't help here. Office 2019 for Mac reached end of support on October 10, 2023, and no longer receives any updates. Your options going forward are using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for free through microsoft365.com, or getting a currently supported version like Office 2024 or a Microsoft 365 subscription.

Office 2024 follows a fixed support lifecycle. It is supported for 5 years from its release date, until October 9, 2029.

Although it was released in 2024, it is still a supported version and will continue receiving security updates during that period. After that date, Microsoft 365 is the option that continues to receive ongoing feature updates and support.

Which Office product do you have? A subscription (Microsoft 365)? Or a perpetual license such as Office Home & Business 2024?

Which version of macOS are you using?

Since there was a licensing update on July 13, 2026, this could be related to your issue depending on your macOS version.

I updated because it was problematic hoping that would solve the issue but it is still the same, i did the trick where you delete the account from Keychain and log in and that worked for about 20mins and then the same issue again

Uninstall your current Office apps:

Uninstall all Office apps completely
Open Finder > Applications
Select all Microsoft Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, etc.)

Download and install through your Microsoft account:

Go to account.microsoft.com/services
Sign in with the Microsoft account linked to your subscription
Find your Microsoft 365 subscription and click Install
Once installed, open any Office app and sign in with the same Microsoft account to activate.

If you purchased your subscription via the App Store, try downloading it through the App Store.

Also install the latest version of the Microsoft AutoUpdate app. There is a link in the support article at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/lifecycle/officeinstall/update-office-for-mac-automatically
