Hello,

I plan to use Microsoft Artifact Signing Public Trust to sign Windows applications. I am located in Slovakia and would register as a sole proprietor: "fyzická osoba – podnikateľ" operating under a valid živnostenské oprávnenie. The business would have an IČO, an entry in the Slovak Trade Register, its own domain, and business email addresses.

Microsoft's PKI CPS defines "Legal Entity" as including a proprietorship, and the Artifact Signing quickstart mentions identity validation for an Organization or a DBA.

Before I register the business and create a paid Azure subscription, could Microsoft please confirm:

  1. Is a Slovak sole proprietor with a živnostenské oprávnenie eligible for Artifact Signing Public Trust identity validation as an Organization or DBA?
  2. Which value should be entered as the Business Identifier: the Slovak IČO or another identifier?
  3. Should Organization Name be the proprietor's full legal name or the registered trade name?
  4. Can the required Azure billing account type be set to Organization for this form of Slovak business?

Thank you.
