how to be able to chat on minecraft multplayer

So im logged into my xbox account and i have done my age and change my setting to everone and allow but when i use lunar i can see msgs but i cannot aswer them but when im on minecraft luncher i can type but i cannot see replys

    I understand how confusing it is when chat behaves differently between Lunar Client and the official Minecraft launcher.

    Since the two clients show opposite behavior, this may involve separate client or chat-display settings rather than only the Xbox privacy setting. Could you confirm:

    • Are you using Minecraft Java or Bedrock Edition?
    • Does this happen on every multiplayer server or only one?
    • In the official game, is Options > Chat Settings > Chat set to Shown?
    • In Lunar Client, does sending work after disabling any chat-related mods?

    If the official launcher works correctly after setting chat to Shown, the remaining Lunar Client issue would be better handled through Lunar Client support because it is a third-party client.
