Gmail mailbox cannot be added directly inside Outlook Web anymore. Reference: https://support.microsoft.com/accounts-billing/manage/link-your-google-account-and-microsoft-account

To read and send Gmail through Outlook, add the Gmail account to the new Outlook app for Windows instead.

I need a practical solution that allows me to activate and use my personal email on the Microsoft OneDrive system. Providing an email address that I cannot access or use does not solve the issue.

From your screen shot, it would appear that you used a GMail address as your Microsoft Account ID

But that is only an Account Identifier. An Alias Name that you can use to sign into your Microsoft Account when it ask for your "email address" on the logon screen. It does not mean that the messages from your GMail account are accessible under that Microsoft Account. It is very confusing and many people, myself included, do not understood why Microsoft allows this.

As John Jefferson Doyon has suggested, if you want to use Outlook with a GMail account (and actually be able to see the GMail messages) you will have to use one of the Outlook Client Apps (not Outlook Web in a browser).

As to your desire to use your OneDrive with your GMail account, that is not possible either. When you add a GMail Account to an Outlook App (e.g. New Outlook for Windows) all that does is give you access to your Google email, calendar, and contacts from within Outlook. It does not "connect" the Google Account to your Microsoft Account in any way.
