I opened a corrupted resident evil file that contained some sort of light malware/trojan horse. My original Microsoft email was hacked and the alias was changed to a phishing email. I have already filed multiple ACSR forms attempting to recover the account but there has been no word from Microsoft regarding my account. I need someone from Microsoft to help please.

    Hi Max Dang,

I understand how concerning this situation is, especially when you have already submitted multiple account recovery requests and have not yet regained access to your account.

Please kindly note that this is a public community forum, I do not have the ability, tools to unblock, recover accounts or bypass security. Only Microsoft’s official recovery process can restore access.

Since you have already submitted multiple Account Recovery (ACSR) forms and the account appears to have been compromised, the next step is to contact Microsoft Support directly for account-specific assistance:

    • Visit  Contact Us - Microsoft Support
    • Select the product or service you're having issue with.
    • Click  Get Home Support
    • Type a brief description of your issue in the search box.
    • Click Get Help  and select  Contact Support  below.
    • Go to the Products and services tab, and choose the appropriate product.
    • On the Category tab, choose the appropriate category or an alternative option.
    • Go to  Confirm.
    • Look for and select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" (during business hours) if available. Explain your situation clearly.

If you still have access to any recovery information previously associated with the account (alternate email, phone number, billing information, Xbox purchases, Microsoft 365 subscription details, etc.), have those details available when speaking with support, as they may help verify ownership.

Note: Please follow the steps in our documentation to enable e-mail notifications if you want to receive the related email notification for this thread.
