Microsoft Feedback Portal: You have been blocked

Today, I was upvoting feedback posts in which people requested that the "Upgrade your plan" button be removed from the Microsoft Office 365 apps for paying subscribers. I not only upvoted, but I was also adding a comment to each that said, "It is indeed annoying that this button should be displayed for already paying subscribers."

After 5-10 upvotes and comments, I suddenly received a screen that simply says: "You have been blocked - If you think there has been an error, please contact us". Afterwards, I reviewed the Code of Conduct for the site and saw that repeated comments were not allowed. So, that explained the blocking. But I cannot find any information about how to get unblocked. I reached out to Microsoft Support. The representative said that he and his team could not do anything related to this issue and suggested I post a question here.

Does anyone know how I get unblocked after inadvertently violating a Code of Conduct?

Thanks!

    Hello Kole Scarbrough,

Sorry for the inconvenience you’re experiencing.

From your description, your access to the Microsoft Feedback Portal was blocked after you upvoted and posted comments while supporting feedback about the removed Upgrade your plan button.

The Microsoft Feedback Code of Conduct advises against posting the same or similar feedback repeatedly, but it does not describe a specific process for restoring access to the portal.

You may want to wait a few days and try signing in again in case the restriction is temporary. However, there is no published timeframe or guarantee that access will be restored automatically. If the block remains, the only practical workaround may be to use another Microsoft account to access the Feedback Portal.

I understand this might not be ideal, but there does not appear to be a confirmed solution for this behavior at this time.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.

    Best regards.
