I bought a new windows 11 home license but I can't find the key any more

I bought a new windows 11 licence. I briefly saw the product key, then clicked on redeem. I was taken to a page to download images and all that, then I realised I had already one in a USB

So I clicked back, but the page with the key wouldn't load any more. I haven't received any emails, but the payment went through and now I can't find my key anywhere

If you purchased from Microsoft, your license can be also used as a digital license, meaning your Microsoft account alone is the license.

If you want the key as a backup activation method, it will come in a separate email. From talking to other users, I know this email can sometimes come late, as late as up to 72 hours.

I found the key

For those unfortunate enough who has bought digital Windows 11 licence, if you can't find your key, haven't received any email and are frustrated with the amount of AI slop that MS is throwing at you as "help & support", you can find your key in the network tab of your dev tools in your browser

This requires a bit of knowledge of how to tinker with your browser, I'm not going to explain everything but look for a request to

https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/list?...... and look for tokenCode in tokenDetails in the response (JSON). That should be your product key
