how do i remove screen connect from my computer

i believe the screen connect app or program is causing malware on my pc... how do i remove it? i can't find it listed in apps or programs to uninstall

If ScreenConnect is not listed in Apps or Programs and Features, use this removal path:

1. Try the standard uninstall locations first:
   • Windows 11: Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps
   • Windows 10: Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features
   • Or open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features
2. If it still does not appear in those lists, check for the program’s built-in uninstaller:
   • Open Start, then Computer or File Explorer.
   • Check these folders:
     • C:\Program Files
     • C:\Program Files (x86) on 64-bit Windows
   • Look for a folder named ScreenConnect or a related program folder.
   • Open that folder and look for an uninstall file such as Uninst.exe, Uninstall, or Uninstall Program_Name.
   • Run that uninstall file and follow the prompts.
3. Do not manually delete the program folder if no uninstall file is present. That can adversely affect Windows or other programs.
4. Since unwanted software is suspected, run a security scan after uninstalling:
   • Update security intelligence in Windows Security.
   • Run a full scan with Microsoft Defender Antivirus.
   • If the unwanted software persists, perform Microsoft Defender Offline.
