why in new outlook for Mac why paste from Excel does not remain in the same format

I am trying to copy from Excel to Outlook for Mac one Excel Table but the format always changes because there is no Paste Special option in Outlook for Mac; as a work around I paste to Word then paste back to Outlook will Outlook for Mac have this option in future ?

Outlook for Mac does not have the same full "Paste Special" menu available in Outlook for Windows.

After pasting the Excel table, look for the small paste control icon at the bottom of the table. Select "Keep Source Formatting." Microsoft states that this option should retain the original formatting and images.

However, Outlook may still change some Excel table properties, such as column widths, fonts, borders, or spacing. Pasting through Word is a reasonable workaround.

What formatting changes exactly, column widths, fonts, colors, or borders?

For an exact visual copy, you can also select the table in Excel and use "Copy as Picture." The table will keep its appearance, but it will no longer be editable in the email.

Microsoft has not provided a release date for adding the full "Paste Special" feature to Outlook for Mac. You can request it directly through "Help" > "Feedback" > "Suggest a Feature."
