i am not able to open word in my laptop

why does the owrd is not opening in my laptop. i need it to do my assignment since yesterday night it was okay

If Word was working previously and suddenly stopped opening, could you let us know what happens when you try to open it?

• Does Word display an error message? If yes, please share any error message or screenshot (with personal information removed)
• Does the Word window appear and then close?
• Are other Office apps such as Excel or PowerPoint opening normally?

Since this is an education account, you may also want to try signing in to https://www.office.com and opening Word for the web to check whether the issue is related to the desktop application or the account.

If the problem is affecting the desktop app only, please contact your school's IT administrator, as they can verify your Microsoft 365 Education license and check for any organization-specific issues.
