WINDOWS 11 OFFICE SUBSCRIPTION

I AM STILL ON WINDOWS 10 AND HAVE WINDOWS HOME OFFICE 10 INSTALLED. I DO NOT USE THE FULL SUITE, MAINLY WORD. WITH WINDOWS 11, DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE A 365 SUBSCRIPTION, OR IS THERE A WAY TO PURCHASE APPS AS STANDALONES?

As DaveM121 reports, you can purchase a perpetual license. While one is available for Word alone, it is less expensive to purchase the full Office 2024 package even if you only want to use Word.

If you do not want to subscribe to Microsoft 365, you can purchase a one-time payment version of Office Home 2024 directly from Microsoft using this link, this is the cheapest version of Office 2024 avaialble.
