Hey there, Noemi Falzetta
I've been having problems with my Xbox account since i can't enable the multi-player features on my games and can't send friendships probably due to the fact that my Microsoft account used to be in a family group.
This is likely down to your privacy settings on your Xbox account. Please can you sign into your Xbox account via this link: https://account.xbox.com/settings
Once you have signed into your account, please change your privacy settings using the website. Once you have changed your settings, please click save to save these changes for your account. You can learn more on how to do this here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/family-online-safety/online-safety/manage-online-safety-and-privacy-settings-xbox-one
If you are based in the UK, and are over the age of 18 years old, please note you will have to complete age verification to access multiplayer settings. This to comply with the new internet safety legislation that has been brought out by the UK government. You can learn how to complete age verification in this article here: https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/help/family-online-safety/online-safety/UK-age-verification
If you are based in the UK and do not wish to complete age verification, you will not be able to access certain multiplayer features on Xbox and Xbox services. This is explained in the FAQ section of the article linked above.
I've contacted several times the Xbox support but nothing helped solve my problem
As far as I am aware, Microsoft/Xbox support are not allowed to change your online privacy settings, even if the account shows as though you are an adult. They can explain how you can change your privacy settings, but not change them themselves. Although, I am interested in what they recommended.
i wanted to create another Xbox account and transfer my games there so that i don't have to pay for them again.
Please be aware that while you can create another Xbox profile with a Microsoft account, please note that the following cannot be transferred to another Microsoft account:
- Microsoft/Xbox account purchases,
- Game saves & Progress,
- In-Game items and accessories,
- Memberships (from Microsoft and game memberships),
This means you will need to start from the beginning. If you are doing this, please set your home Xbox for the old account to your console. This will allow you to share your games and Xbox subscription with other accounts on Xbox. You can learn more about how the Xbox home feature works in this article: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox
Hope this helps,
Nathan
